Animal Protection
concerns us all!

We've done a lot ...
but there's so much more to be done!

Hunting

Hunting ...

  • damages the balance of nature
  • leads to overpopulation ( e.g. wild boars react with increased reproduction )
  • Family ties get torn apart
  • the spreading of food encourages wild animals to reproduce even more
  • the hunting of foxes leads to escaping and therefore spreads rabies (hydrophobia)
  • about 500 000 cats and 100 000 dogs per year fall victim to hunting
  • All significant reasons to support the hunt are scientifically refuted.
  • Natural enemies of game like bear, lynx, wolf and the like are not sufficiently or not present at all. This grievance was caused by the eradication of natural enemies.
  • Due to the feeding, uncontrolled reproduction spreads; then this so called surplus is “purged” by the hunters.
